SMC ChartSense Indicators
The concepts this site teaches — order blocks, liquidity sweeps, and passive-flow absorption — implemented as TradingView indicators. Same framework as the chart reads and guides, drawn automatically on live charts. No signals, no hype, just tools.
Order Block Detector200+ boosts
Order block detection with a mandatory fair value gap confirmation at the anchor candle — no FVG, no OB. Where most OB scripts flag every breakout candle, this one keeps only the zones that came with genuine displacement, producing fewer but more meaningful zones.
- FVG validation gate at every anchor — zones require a 3-bar displacement gap to qualify
- Configurable mitigation (close-through or wick-touch), with mitigated zones optionally kept faded for historical study
- The zones in our Order Block guide and chart reads, drawn automatically
Liquidity Reversal
A reversal-pattern detector built on the principle that markets turn at liquidity events, not arbitrary levels. It marks the individual bar where a failed move reversed — and only when several independent filters agree on that same bar, so it stays quiet until something structurally meaningful happens.
- Five stacked filters — structural context, liquidity context, displacement into the level, failure quality, and reversal quality — all must agree; failure at any stage cancels the detection
- Marks the actual reversal bar where the move originated, not a later confirmation candle
- Deliberately low detection density — the opposite of the dozens-per-session approach; the liquidity-event logic is the framework our Liquidity & FVG guide teaches
OB + Passive Flow ConfluenceNew
Our most advanced tool: combines FVG-validated order block detection with passive-flow absorption analysis — lower-timeframe volume delta plus open interest — to grade zones by the flow that defended them.
- Five-tier zone hierarchy: from plain FVG-validated OBs to absorption-defended zones with rising open interest
- Absorption diamonds mark when heavy aggressive flow failed to move price — the passive defense our volume-focused reads describe
- Auto-resolving open-interest feed for both spot and perp charts; all flow events evaluate on confirmed bars only
New to TradingView?
All three indicators run on TradingView, the charting platform. If you don’t have an account yet, setup takes about two minutes — and the free plan is enough to use every tool on this page.
- Create a free TradingView account — signing up through this link also gives you a $15 coupon toward any TradingView plan, if you ever choose to upgrade.
- Open any chart, then click Indicators at the top of the chart.
- Search “SMC ChartSense” — all three tools appear under Community Scripts — or open them directly from the buttons above and click “Add to favorite indicators.”
- Click a tool to add it to your chart. Settings can be adjusted from the gear icon next to the indicator’s name.
- Each script’s page documents its inputs; the guides linked below explain the concepts the tools draw.
Disclosure: links to TradingView on this page (including the sign-up link and the “View on TradingView” buttons) are referral links. If you later purchase a TradingView plan after using them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The indicators themselves are free, and a free TradingView account is sufficient to use them.
How these fit the site: every indicator implements concepts covered in depth in our two guides — Order Blocks and Liquidity & Fair Value Gaps — and illustrated bar by bar in our chart-read library. The tools mark the structures; the guides teach how to read them. None of them produce trade recommendations.
Would a setup like this have held up across years of data?
Reading one chart is insight. Knowing whether a pattern has a statistical edge across hundreds of historical instances is something else. SMC ChartSense lets you configure SMC strategy parameters — order blocks, FVG, market structure, risk-reward — and backtest them against years of Binance perpetuals data. No coding required.
